In the 4th minute of the match Ermegildo Abeitia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rey Villazan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Ermegildo Abeitia in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. GUAYACO's goalie prevented a goal. 8 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Abeitia came free, but Rey Villazan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Rechani in the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Urdin during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 20 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Abeitia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rey Villazan. C.A. GUAYACO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermegildo Abeitia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Teo Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Rechani in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Abeitia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. GUAYACO the free kick. Ermegildo Abeitia hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ronny Caicedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Teo Bernaldo made a huge save. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ermegildo Abeitia sped through C.A. GUAYACO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rey Villazan. 43 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Abreu came free, but Rey Villazan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45thth minute of the game Ermegildo Abeitia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. GUAYACO's Rey Villazan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The audience was convinced that Ivan Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rey Villazan was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The referee showed Clemente De La Torre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Augusto Vachon hit a great ball. The supporters of C.A. GUAYACO booed when StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Marcial Urbez got a free kick in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Abeitia in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rey Villazan saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind. Vincent Murieta hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Iruinea during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clemente De La Torre hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd match minute, C.A. GUAYACO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Murieta to maneuver through the defense. The StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
