In the 7th minute, Luís Guilherme Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lothar Bannert in the 10th minute of play forced Ique Football Club's goalkeeper Fábio-Deivson Lopes Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Michelberger kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Fábio-Deivson Lopes Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Gorges, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Lothar Bannert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ique Football Club's Fábio-Deivson Lopes Maciel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo-Henrique Ganso in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christoph Heise prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Paulo-Henrique Ganso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fábio-Deivson Lopes Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lothar Bannert in the 35th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Ique Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Vasconcelos.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otto-Stephan Keck to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Paulo-Henrique Ganso sped through Hertha 1969's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christoph Heise. Hertha 1969's Christoph Heise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo-Henrique Ganso in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Eric Michelberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otto-Stephan Keck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Fábio-Deivson Lopes Maciel made a huge save. Christoph Heise came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ique Football Club's Christiano Azevedo. But to his dismay, Christiano Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ique Football Club's Fábio-Deivson Lopes Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Gorges in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Hamílton Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoph Heise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoph Heise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José da Costa in the 87th minute of play. Luciano Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Hertha 1969's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when Ique Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cláudio Maranhense was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, one of Ique Football Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ique Football Club:s Fábio-Deivson Lopes Maciel showed great skill when he stopped Otto-Stephan Keck:s penalty. 93 minutes into the match, Otto-Stephan Keck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fábio-Deivson Lopes Maciel. Ique Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otto-Stephan Keck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Christoph Heise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hertha 1969's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
