Xian Rosete was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Máximo Malafaia. Yaniusky Hernan hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Hernandez Loinaz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Isidro Viana struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Xian Rosete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ponte do Carro. In the 11th minute, Urtsua Relloso made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Amaro. Ponte do Carro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 17thth minute of the game Urtsua Relloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponte do Carro's Rodrigo Amaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Urtsua Relloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xian Rosete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Viana in the 24th minute of play. Isidro Viana came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Xian Rosete could save by the left post. After 27 played minutes Camino Rojo got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Varioz. In the 33rd match minute, Camino Rojo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Varioz to maneuver through the defense. Isidro Viana struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Xian Rosete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ponte do Carro. 38 minutes into the game, Ademar Figueiras recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xian Rosete. Ademar Figueiras showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Camino Rojo's Yaniusky Hernan got a free kick in the 46th minute. Xian Rosete acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Máximo Malafaia. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urtsua Relloso to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Camino Rojo got a freekick which was hit by Vellito Cerio. Rodrigo Amaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urtsua Relloso went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Urtsua Relloso hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of Camino Rojo booed when Ponte do Carro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Máximo Malafaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urtsua Rellosos short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Rodrigo Amaro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 64th minute, Hernandez Loinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Eusébio Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xian Rosete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Saúl Vidigal in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Camino Rojo's Emiliano Pando. A collision led to Ponte do Carro getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Amílcar Caldeira hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Máximo Malafaia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes, Isidro Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponte do Carro and the Camino Rojo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Viana to maneuver through the defense. Xian Rosete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Camino Rojo's Hernandez Loinaz got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Camino Rojo defense, Isidro Viana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xian Rosete. The Camino Rojo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xian Rosete should have stopped the shot. Camino Rojo's Xian Rosete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Viana in the 92nd minute of play. Xian Rosete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Viana in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ponte do Carro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Camino Rojo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
