Mantas Balnis hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Gregório Modesto charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregório Modesto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregório Modesto to maneuver through the defense. Emilis Pikelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Leão in the 12th minute of the match. Vytenis Grabauskas took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Amaro. Rodrigo Amaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Rodrigo Amaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pepito Inzaghi. Rodrigo Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erikas Spudys in the 29th minute of play. Emilis Pikelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Malafaia in the 30th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Máximo Malafaia made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Alytus United's Emilis Pikelis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Dominykas Baltruika came free, but Rodrigo Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adelino Damásio hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Hamilton Leal put in a rough tackle. Rodrigo Amaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erikas Spudys in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusébio Leão was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Almantas Valančius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Alytus United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ponte do Carro the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Alytus United's Almantas Valančius got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Moisés Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erikas Spudys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rodrigo Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ponte do Carro's Rodrigo Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erikas Spudys in the 71st minute of play. Rodrigo Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erikas Spudys, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Rodrigo Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erikas Spudys in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vytenis Grabauskas in the 77th minute of play forced Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Rodrigo Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mantas Balnis in the 84th minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 87th minute when Erikas Spudys elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. FC Alytus United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
