Danny Booth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Octav Glăvan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Lucrețiu Arotăriței hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Arotăriței to maneuver through the defense. Edward Preston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Moldovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Radu Moldovan took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Preston. Edward Preston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Octav Glăvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Partridge in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pete Partridge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octav Glăvan was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Irinel Ciorogaru was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. Octav Glăvan had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Don Major's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Don Major hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Bănățeanu came free, but Edward Preston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billie Curtis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pete Partridge to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Billie Curtis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Octav Glăvan. Octav Glăvan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Ivan Stanciu got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 67 played minutes, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marian Răducu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edward Preston came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ASF BAIA MARE -MM- reached it. In the 69th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Stanciu to maneuver through the defense. Danny Booth hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Knott in the 83rd minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Octav Glăvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pete Partridge in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octav Glăvan saved ASF BAIA MARE -MM- from getting behind. Victor Cucerzan kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Pete Partridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Octav Glăvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Partridge in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Pete Partridge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Octav Glăvan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danny Booth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octav Glăvan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Egg Chasers FC.
