Pete Partridge hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the game, Egg Chasers FC's Pete Partridge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricky Bourgeois made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Steve Knott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Bourgeois having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Jeffrey Van Bockorst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pete Partridge in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricky Bourgeois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Pete Partridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricky Bourgeois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billie Curtis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ricky Bourgeois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pete Partridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natan Van Eijcken charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natan Van Eijcken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Natan Van Eijcken hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Pete Partridge came free, but Ricky Bourgeois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egg Chasers FC's Edward Preston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorie Kloots in the 32nd minute of play. Steve Knott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Bourgeois having to interfere. After 37 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Boris Paelinck. 41 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Pete Partridge came free, but Ricky Bourgeois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Bourgeois having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregorie Kloots stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egg Chasers FC's Billie Curtis got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricky Bourgeois came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Egg Chasers FC's Danny Booth. But to his dismay, Danny Booth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Steve Knott took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Ricky Bourgeois to make any attempt to save it. Ricky Bourgeois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pete Partridge in the 64th minute of the match. Edward Preston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorie Kloots in the 66th minute of the match. When Danny Booth came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Egg Chasers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danny Booth couldn't finish the play. KV Schoonwater's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Billie Curtis scored to the left of an out of position Ricky Bourgeois, making the score, 1-4. After some careless play in the KV Schoonwater defense, Danny Booth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricky Bourgeois. The KV Schoonwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricky Bourgeois should have stopped the shot. KV Schoonwater's Ricky Bourgeois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billie Curtis in the 83rd minute of play. Ricky Bourgeois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Partridge in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Billie Curtis during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billie Curtis to maneuver through the defense. Raf De Muysere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in KV Schoonwater's zone, Danny Booth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricky Bourgeois came out of the goal and Danny Booth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egg Chasers FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
