Kim Van Gysel scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeffrey Van Bockorst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeffrey Van Bockorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fransesco Jenken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Van Gysel came free, but Jeffrey Van Bockorst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffrey Van Bockorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Van Gysel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Jos Vercasteren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jeffrey Van Bockorst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Loui De Wulf came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by KV Schoonwater's Reinard Persoons. But to his dismay, Reinard Persoons quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. A collision led to SK Dreigoten getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jos Vercasteren hit a great ball. In the 34th minute of the match Gaetan Vanden Bossche sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loui De Wulf skillfully saved the ball. In the 36th minute, SK Dreigoten's Kim Van Gysel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeffrey Van Bockorst. Jeffrey Van Bockorst yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. Jos Vercasteren took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeffrey Van Bockorst. Jeffrey Van Bockorst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Reinard Persoons kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, KV Schoonwater's Maxime Caes made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loui De Wulf was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinard Persoons to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Fransesco Jenken notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of KV Schoonwater's Jeffrey Van Bockorst. Jeffrey Van Bockorst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeffrey Van Bockorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jos Vercasteren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loui De Wulf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinard Persoons, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 70th minute, Maxime Caes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KV Schoonwater fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-3. Vince Van Eijcke charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vince Van Eijcke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Vince Van Eijcke. After a rather tough play, SK Dreigoten's Kim Van Gysel got a free kick in the 76th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jos Vercasteren during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Jos Vercasteren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SK Dreigoten's Dimitry den Ronden was substituted for Jos Vercasteren. Jos Vercasteren hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. SK Dreigoten's Loui De Wulf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinard Persoons in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Paelinck got free with Loui De Wulf in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Erwin Kerstens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeffrey Van Bockorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Dreigoten's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
