Classe A Futebol Clube's Tarzan Boy got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Yvan Etcheverry came free, but Wiliam Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilan Saudrais made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Gernando Pitta sent off a good shot on target. Gernando Pitta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ilan Saudrais came out and tried to block the shot, but Gernando Pitta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Kléber Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilan Saudrais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the game Fernand Dilly made a throw-in which Roland Ageorges played forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Kléber Pernambucano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ilan Saudrais. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarzan Boy in the 29th minute of play forced Mans's goalkeeper Ilan Saudrais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mans defense, Kléber Pernambucano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilan Saudrais. The Mans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilan Saudrais should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belmiro Meira got free with Ilan Saudrais in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Vito Mesquita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ilan Saudrais. That made the score 4-0 in the 38 minute of play. In the 41st minute, Gernando Pitta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilan Saudrais was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After some careless play in the Mans defense, Belmiro Meira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilan Saudrais. The Mans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilan Saudrais should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Killian Charbonnier made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belmiro Meira during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Classe A Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Belmiro Meira hit a great ball. Jorginho Félix was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mans's Thomas Müller got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ilan Saudrais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson Mazza in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Classe A Futebol Clube's Tarzan Boy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilan Saudrais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Ilan Saudrais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Tarzan Boy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Classe A Futebol Clube's Wiliam Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Killian Charbonnier in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Mans's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Pitta came free, but Ilan Saudrais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
