Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcu Voitiş started the match with the kick off. Jorginho Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Voitiş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Rareș Bîndean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MIT Craiova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Compostela FSCMZ the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Toledo in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iulian Burtea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute of the match, Cesinha Paraense got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iulian Burtea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Compostela FSCMZ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ulisses Senna hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Marcu Voitiş sped through Compostela FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorginho Ferraz. Marcu Voitiş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorginho Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, MIT Craiova's Marcu Voitiş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorginho Ferraz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half MIT Craiova were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Compostela FSCMZ's Renan dos Santos was substituted for Evandro Bastos. 54 minutes into the match, Marcu Voitiş notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Compostela FSCMZ's Jorginho Ferraz. Jorginho Ferraz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Compostela FSCMZ's Jorginho Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Voitiş in the 58th minute of play. With a little luck, Compostela FSCMZ's Jorginho Ferraz got control of the ball when Cristian Moisil tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 66th play minutes Marcu Voitiş shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Jorginho Ferraz and just under the crossbar into goal. 72 minutes into the match, Marcu Voitiş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorginho Ferraz. Compostela FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcu Voitiş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Jorginho Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Voitiş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Marcu Voitiş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiu Taşcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Ferraz having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, MIT Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Bîndean to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 92 minutes, André Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Compostela FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by MIT Craiova's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Renan dos Santos was slow to take the kick. During this time Compostela FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. MIT Craiova's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
