Pedrinho Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flaco López in the 3rd minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Flaco López cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pedrinho Sergipano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedrinho Sergipano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flaco López's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. JFSP's Denílson Massa got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flaco López scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedrinho Sergipano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedrinho Sergipano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flaco López went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Flaco López sped through DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedrinho Sergipano. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Pedrinho Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flaco López in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in DIPLOMATA FC PAB's zone, Flaco López stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Sergipano came out of the goal and Flaco López tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flaco López scored 0-5 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedrinho Sergipano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reinaldo de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Flaco López came free, but Pedrinho Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, JFSP's Flaco López made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrinho Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedrinho Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flaco López, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half JFSP were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramón Sampaio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Võ Gozali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandão Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as JFSP's Denílson Massa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedrinho Sergipano. That made the score 0-7 after 55 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Pedrinho Sergipano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. JFSP were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudinei Hermes took the corner. The corner ended in Claudinei Hermes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Pedrinho Sergipano did a great save. JFSP's Võ Gozali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Donato in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Rômulo Barral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JFSP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DIPLOMATA FC PAB the free kick. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rômulo Barral hit a great ball. Flaco López could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Pedrinho Sergipano made a huge save. When Flaco López came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the JFSP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flaco López couldn't finish the play. If Flaco López had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Denílson do Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JFSP's protests and gave Denílson do Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, JFSP's Denílson do Nascimento got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Dagoberto Perez struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Võ Gozali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DIPLOMATA FC PAB. 85 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Massa came free, but Pedrinho Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramón Sampaio charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramón Sampaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Sampaio. A hard shot 90 in the game by Flaco López from a close distance when the talented Pedrinho Sergipano managed to make a qualified save. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Flaco López kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedrinho Sergipano. That made the score 0-9 in the 94 minute of play. JFSP's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
