RED BLUE STAR's 姚然军 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adam Seng in the 4 minute of the game. With an all-out effort, RED BLUE STAR's Muhammad Chan threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Răzvan Spineanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Karol Pierz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Siong, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Muhammad Chan made an important save on a dangerous shot by 姚然军 in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when 姚然军 got free with Muhammad Chan in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Siong came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meldris Ruckanovs made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Valentin Omescu immediately put the ball in play. With a little luck, Stars's Muhammad Chan got control of the ball when Răzvan Spineanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. RED BLUE STAR's attentive Eugen Văleanu managed to snatch the ball when Bernt Willig made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. In the 37th minute of the match Stars got a corner. RED BLUE STAR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudinei Damião ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Claudinei Damião almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RED BLUE STAR's Karol Pierz did a great save. Muhammad Chan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Răzvan Spineanu in the 38th minute. Karol Pierz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Ke Yan in the 40th minute of play. Lucio Urki hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When 姚然军 came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the RED BLUE STAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 姚然军 couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

RED BLUE STAR made a substitution. Sorin Manciu replaced Răzvan Spineanu. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Siong to strike the kick off in the second half. Sorin Manciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute 姚然军 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 姚然军 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Muhammad Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Manciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Tercero struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Karol Pierz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stars. Stars's Rudy Chandran was substituted for Adam Seng. 姚然军 took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muhammad Chan. Muhammad Chan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Sorin Manciu might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Muhammad Chan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sorin Manciu ran back to his position shaking his head. Muhammad Chan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sorin Manciu in the 87th minute of the match. Muhammad Chan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sorin Manciu's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. A collision led to RED BLUE STAR getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Meldris Ruckanovs hit a great ball. Karol Pierz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rudy Chandran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 96 minute of play. Stars's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
