After having played for 3 minutes, Jan Koller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Ortegano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Koller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Koller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bambang Sagala. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Jan Koller received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bambang Sagala came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan Koller slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Koller in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bambang Sagala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Ortegano's Jan Koller got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bahiano Caballeria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Lario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Estudiantes de Merida FC's Maicon Brodel to fire away a dangerous shot which Bahiano Caballeria despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bambang Sagala was a little too slow when Jan Koller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 3-0. 28 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Merida FC's goalkeeper Bambang Sagala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Koller. With his leg Bambang Sagala managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Deportivo Ortegano's Jan Koller fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bambang Sagala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Koller in the 40th minute of the match. Bambang Sagala was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan Koller showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 42 minute of play. Bambang Sagala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Draxler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Lesardo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jan Koller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahiano Caballeria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Canido in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Dario Draxler. Ian Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Lario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Bahiano Caballeria made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's Jan Koller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bambang Sagala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Canido came free, but Bahiano Caballeria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes de Merida FC's goalkeeper Bambang Sagala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bambang Sagala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Koller's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jan Koller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Ortegano's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Koller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bambang Sagala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Estudiantes de Merida FC's Marcelino Quinten was substituted for Emiliano Lesardo. Estudiantes de Merida FC's Lando Morais was substituted for Maicon Brodel. Deportivo Ortegano made a substitution. Orland Uceda replaced Jan Koller. Deportivo Ortegano's Nicasio Guipuzcoa was substituted for Dario Draxler. Israel Mosen hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Lando Morais fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de Merida FC's protests and gave Lando Morais a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de Merida FC's Lando Morais got a free kick in the 89th minute. Tomasz Bambas scored 6-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bambang Sagala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicasio Guipuzcoa took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bambang Sagala. Bambang Sagala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Estudiantes de Merida FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
