In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Veronica, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel-Jan Kerckmans to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Jan Koller put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Inocencio Veronica. Jan Koller in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Inocencio Veronica, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Koller in the 38th minute of the match. Orlandus Torrascasana charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlandus Torrascasana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Koller in the 46th minute of play. The Deportivo Ortegano players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rafaela FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio made a kick off. Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Koller in the 53rd minute of play. Bahiano Caballeria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Jax, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Lluis in the 55th minute of play forced Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Bahiano Caballeria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Koller in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Veronica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bahiano Caballeria came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Rafaela FC's Octavio Gonzo. But to his dismay, Octavio Gonzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Deportivo Ortegano made a substitution. Orland Uceda replaced Jan Koller. Rafaela FC made a substitution. Humberto Bihar replaced Leonides Tajo. Deportivo Ortegano's Nicasio Guipuzcoa was substituted for Dario Draxler. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Froilan Vincente put in a rough tackle. Nico Veit shot from long distance in the 75th minute, but Bahiano Caballeria was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 77 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Bahiano Caballeria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavio Gonzo. Octavio Gonzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Bahiano Caballeria made a huge save. A collision led to Deportivo Ortegano getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Orland Uceda hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's Nico Veit broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Deportivo Ortegano's Bahiano Caballeria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 87th minute of play. 92 minutes in the game, Oinomoas Konstantatos dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to Rafaela FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Nico Veit hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rafaela FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
