Deportivo Ortegano's Bahiano Caballeria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Ortegano from getting a goal against them. Bahiano Caballeria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ni Zhen Feng in the 12th minute. Horacio Jesus Carvallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Koller in the 13th minute of the match. Bahiano Caballeria was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Ni Zhen Feng capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ni Zhen Feng really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 20th minute Baez FC were awarded a corner. Ruperto Ralondo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ruperto Ralondo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Ortegano's Bahiano Caballeria did a great save. Bahiano Caballeria made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ni Zhen Feng sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baez FC's goalkeeper Horacio Jesus Carvallo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match Deportivo Ortegano got a corner. Baez FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomasz Bambas ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Deportivo Ortegano's Bahiano Caballeria got control of the ball when Thalis Papazisis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Jan Koller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baez FC's Horacio Jesus Carvallo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baez FC's Horacio Jesus Carvallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Koller in the 37th minute of play. The tension between the Baez FC and the Deportivo Ortegano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Ni Zhen Feng made a precise shot to the right of Bahiano Caballeria. Deportivo Ortegano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Bahiano Caballeria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Zárate in the 60th minute of play. Bahiano Caballeria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ni Zhen Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Ortegano's Tomasz Bambas got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But to his dismay, Nicasio Guipuzcoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Thanks to some nice moves Nicasio Guipuzcoa could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Horacio Jesus Carvallo however easily saved by the left post. Bahiano Caballeria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ni Zhen Feng's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Baez FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
