An unexpectedly hard shot by Ni Zhen Feng in the 2nd minute of play forced Estudiantes de Merida FC's goalkeeper Wuilker Fariñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Thalis Papazisis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wuilker Fariñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ni Zhen Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Estudiantes de Merida FC booed when Baez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Vrabie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Ni Zhen Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wuilker Fariñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ni Zhen Feng took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wuilker Fariñez. Wuilker Fariñez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Papazisis in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wuilker Fariñez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 28 played minutes Baez FC got a freekick which was hit by Ni Zhen Feng. René Descartes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Horacio Jesus Carvallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Thalis Papazisis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Thalis Papazisis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Estudiantes de Merida FC's Wuilker Fariñez. Wuilker Fariñez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the match, Danilo Zárate had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wuilker Fariñez. Estudiantes de Merida FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Zárate was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Horacio Jesus Carvallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from René Descartes in the 45th minute of the match. Wuilker Fariñez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thalis Papazisis went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Estudiantes de Merida FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Baez FC were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thalis Papazisis to strike the kick off in the second half. Danilo Zárate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Wuilker Fariñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thalis Papazisiss short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Wuilker Fariñez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Ni Zhen Feng could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Wuilker Fariñez however easily saved by the left post. In the 73rd minute Ni Zhen Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wuilker Fariñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When %teams%'s Ni Zhen Feng was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-6 just inside the left pole, 76 minutes into the game. Wuilker Fariñez was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Horacio Jesus Carvallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Lario in the 82nd minute of the match. Wuilker Fariñez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thalis Papazisis went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Estudiantes de Merida FC made a substitution. Marcelino Quinten replaced Emiliano Lesardo. Ni Zhen Feng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wuilker Fariñez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Thalis Papazisis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wuilker Fariñez came out and tried to block the shot, but Thalis Papazisis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 91st minute. When the match was over Baez FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Estudiantes de Merida FC throughout the match.
