Gabriel Soin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Einar Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Luís Koehler in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Einar Holmberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's André Luís Koehler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Erasmo Clis hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's André Luís Koehler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Einar Holmberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erubiel Dalmu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Einar Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Koehler in the 35th minute of the match. Octavio Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Grande having to interfere. In the 45th minute Gabriel Soin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Einar Holmberg came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's André Luís Koehler. But to his dismay, André Luís Koehler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Luís Koehler to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Erasmo Clis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ascacibar-Pérez and the ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erasmo Clis hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. André Luís Koehler in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Einar Holmberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Ascacibar-Pérez getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Erubiel Dalmu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ascacibar-Pérez's Erasmo Clis got a free kick in the 59th minute. Miguel Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Edelmiro Selmo was substituted for Cristo Matxin. In the 83rd match minute, Ascacibar-Pérez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Montrel to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Severo Chucho managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Chucho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Einar Holmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ascacibar-Pérez booed when ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Chucho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Martín Palermo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's zone, Marcelino Txurio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edoardo Grande came out of the goal and Marcelino Txurio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ascacibar-Pérez throughout the match.
