Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from János Pálosi, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Branislav Velchevski came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by 【E ➣VERON 11's János Pálosi. But to his dismay, János Pálosi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Iraunkor in the 28th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Edur was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Elpidio Francis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elpidio Francis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Roland Kolacki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elpidio Francis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Edur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Elpidio Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Benjamin Edur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Elpidio Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Edur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's zone, Nestor Harkaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Branislav Velchevski came out of the goal and Nestor Harkaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Elpidio Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Edur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Elpidio Francis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Modesto Constancio replaced Nestor Harkaitz. In the 63rd minute, Miguel Prosperi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the 【E ➣VERON 11 defense, Elpidio Francis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Edur. The 【E ➣VERON 11 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Edur should have stopped the shot. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. Arnaldo Gabon replaced Miguel Prosperi. After a rather tough play, 【E ➣VERON 11's Diego Lugo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Diego Lugo got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to 【E ➣VERON 11 getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Diego Lugo hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Hjeltman during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when 【E ➣VERON 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Hjeltman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Havier in the 95th minute of play forced 【E ➣VERON 11's goalkeeper Benjamin Edur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA could leave the field as winners, despite 【E ➣VERON 11 having more of the ball for most of the match.
