Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Concetto Trasatti kicked off to start the match. 11 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Marcos Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 11th minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Francis in the 13th minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 16th minute of the match. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Beltza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Simeone kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Miguel Prosperi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Branislav Velchevski made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Concetto Trasatti sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute Estudiantes de América were awarded a corner. Maximo Dei went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Estudiantes de América's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Prosperi was slow to take the kick. During this time ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's players had a chance to rest. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Miguel Prosperi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Ranolfo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Beltza in the 38th minute of play. After 45 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Roland Kolacki. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Francis to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Beltza came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Beltza, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Venancio Havier lost his temper 59 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Venancio Havier kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Venancio Havier got a free kick in the 61st minute. It was beautiful to see Estudiantes de América's Prospero Gabirel in action when he in the 63rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 70 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Francis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Francis got free with Marcos Ranolfo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Kolacki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Roland Kolacki got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Maximo Dei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Ruisko might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Branislav Velchevski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cornelio Ruisko ran back to his position shaking his head. After 77 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Suarez. In the 81st minute Kraig Fred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Kraig Fred left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 95thth minute of the game Flavio Iraunkor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Estudiantes de América had won after a very even match.
