Funebrero FC's German Tallia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastian Quirce in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nestor Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Urtzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ambrosio Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nestor Guillelmus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's Elias Emeterio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Quirce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pan FC's Sebastian Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Emeterio in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Elias Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Funebrero FC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Pan FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. German Tallia took the corner. Funebrero FC's Benigno Claus quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Lizardi in the 40th minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Urtzi came free, but Nestor Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Urtzi in the 46th minute of play forced Funebrero FC's goalkeeper Nestor Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Urtzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Piarres Cabredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Funebrero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Piarres Cabredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pan FC's Arnaldo Urtzi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nestor Guillelmus. That made the score 0-1 after 59 minutes of play. Ambrosio Opilano struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Nestor Guillelmus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pan FC. Sebastian Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Lizardi in the 64th minute of play. Nestor Guillelmus was a little too slow when 许明卫 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Lizardi in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Quirce saved Pan FC from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Pan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Lizardi came free, but Sebastian Quirce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Funebrero FC's Benigno Claus got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pan FC's Sebastian Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Lizardi in the 77th minute of play. Aaron Lizardi got in the 77th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Sebastian Quirce handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Aaron Lizardi put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sebastian Quirce. 许明卫 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Nestor Guillelmus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elias Emeterio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Quirce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Nestor Guillelmus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 许明卫 went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pan FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
