Supernadie's Marc Overmars got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Supernadie's Geordie Kinkladze suffered a sprained foot after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de la Plata's protests and gave Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Estudiantes de la Plata got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio. Estudiantes de la Plata's Igor Gilabert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Igor Gilabert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. In the 93rd minute, Nicasio Natanael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Gilabert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Tello, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Supernadie's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
