An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Martino in the 14th minute of play forced Coupon Busters II AR's goalkeeper Artemio Edwardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Santana came free, but Jaime Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tension between the Coupon Busters II AR and the ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Anier Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Edwardo having to interfere. When Anier Menendo fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coupon Busters II AR's protests and gave Anier Menendo a yellow card for diving instead. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Rodolfo Otsoko was substituted for Ciriaco Oinaz. The supporters of ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ booed when Coupon Busters II AR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Menendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Clemente Martino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artemio Edwardo was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Martino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaime Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Pacorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Pacorro in the 75th minute of play. Fernando Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Edwardo having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Justino Filipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Placido Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Clemente Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Martino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Edwardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Coupon Busters II AR's goalkeeper Artemio Edwardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Otsoko. Fernando Elodio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Artemio Edwardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jaime Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Etxepare, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 90 minutes of play Coupon Busters II AR's Flavio Pacorro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 93rd minute, Honorio Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
