Artemio Edwardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Michael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Coupon Busters II AR's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Vincent came free, but Artemio Edwardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Etxepare in the 13th minute of play forced Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper Enrique Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Generoso Michael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Belasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Etxepare in the 17th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Galáctico Azul FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Victor Bernabel. In the 21st minute, Erasmo Celino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Menendo's late challenge caught a Galáctico Azul FC™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Placido Santana tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enrique Belasko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Enrique Belasko made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Flavio Pacorro sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Galáctico Azul FC™ defense, Placido Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Belasko. The Galáctico Azul FC™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Belasko should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Michael in the 57th minute of play forced Coupon Busters II AR's goalkeeper Artemio Edwardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Generoso Michael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Artemio Edwardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Galáctico Azul FC™ made a substitution. Casimiro Ellande replaced Gaspar Magdaleno. Galáctico Azul FC™ made a substitution. Artemio Edwardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Ellande in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Edwardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Casimiro Ellande notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Coupon Busters II AR's Artemio Edwardo. Artemio Edwardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the match, Generoso Michael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artemio Edwardo. Coupon Busters II AR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Michael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 93 minutes into the game, Eulalio Vincent cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Artemio Edwardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Coupon Busters II AR's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
