But to his dismay, Marcelino Baumer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Giovanni Rana notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor. Camilo Salvidor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aybek Orcun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Janpier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Rana to maneuver through the defense. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Baumer in the 20th minute of play. Marlin FC's Ismael Iglesias was substituted for Marcelino Baumer. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriele Batistuta made a kick off. Abdoulay Doucouré hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Fernando Ciano with Yin Yang as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 58th minute, Armando Roland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aybek Orcun, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute.
