An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Alonso in the 4th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 6 minutes on the clock, Chico Viejo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Silvestre Cisco took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Beloki. Generoso Beloki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Generoso Beloki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Cisco in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Frontera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Varela to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Cosmin Mihuleac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes in the game Alifonso Irureta did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cosmin Mihuleac. Naohiro Takahara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Generoso Beloki made a huge save. Naohiro Takahara struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Generoso Beloki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera AFC. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casado Castan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 33rd minute, Celso Betadur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosmin Mihuleac in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Naohiro Takahara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frontera AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naohiro Takahara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Generoso Beloki managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Frontera AFC's Naohiro Takahara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 39thth minute of the game Casado Castan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vodka Stars 1949 were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Frontera AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Curcio Alonso took the corner. Vodka Stars 1949's Curcio Alonso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agustín Rossi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Celso Betadur hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casado Castan in the 44th minute of the match. Celso Betadur kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvestre Cisco was the one to do the kick off. Agustín Rossi came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Vodka Stars 1949's Casado Castan. But to his dismay, Casado Castan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Casado Castan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vodka Stars 1949's supporters rose to their feet, but Casado Castan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustín Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frontera AFC's Gonzalo Pacifico was substituted for Celso Betadur. Casado Castan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Agustín Rossi made a huge save. Agustín Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casado Castan's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naohiro Takahara in the 66th minute of play forced Vodka Stars 1949's goalkeeper Generoso Beloki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Cisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Beloki having to interfere. Vodka Stars 1949's Txema Cifuentes was substituted for Hugo Mera. 70 minutes into the match, Vodka Stars 1949's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Gaitán came free, but Generoso Beloki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Frontera AFC were awarded a corner. Silvestre Cisco went to the cornerflag to take it. Silvestre Cisco made a great header on Frontera AFC's corner, it was just that Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki managed to reach the ball for a save. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nektarios Vrachopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Generoso Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naohiro Takahara in the 74th minute of the match. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Mihuleac, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Generoso Beloki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Naohiro Takahara went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute, Silvestre Cisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustín Rossi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Curcio Alonso. Frontera AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
