In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 6 in the game by Ahmet Baki Tecimer from a close distance when the talented Tony Guimarães managed to make a qualified save. C. A. Atlanta's players were relieved. In the 7th minute of the match La Maquina 9-12-18 got a corner. C. A. Atlanta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Baki Tecimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bastien Domenge in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tony Guimarães, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The La Maquina 9-12-18 fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when La Maquina 9-12-18's Albert Gaardahl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The attack was good, but when Albert Gaardahl in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Bastien Domenge fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Maquina 9-12-18's protests and gave Bastien Domenge a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes La Maquina 9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Bastien Domenge. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Rio in the 27th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Vachon took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Guimarães. Tony Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Tony Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Vachon in the 36th minute of play. Albert Gaardahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Tony Guimarães made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Primo to strike the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Primo's late challenge caught a La Maquina 9-12-18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Primo helped the player get up and apologised. La Maquina 9-12-18's Candido Ebardo was substituted for Alberto Luken. In the 51st minute, Teodoro Primo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Vachon in the 55th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Gaardahl in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Albert Gaardahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Primo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jose Vimaro made a huge save. Albert Gaardahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Guimarães having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Albert Gaardahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Maquina 9-12-18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Gaardahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Albert Gaardahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Vachon in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Guimarães saved C. A. Atlanta from getting behind. La Maquina 9-12-18's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Baki Tecimer in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Ahmet Baki Tecimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tony Guimarães quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carmelo Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tony Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 minutes, Eliseo Sasoin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Atlanta and the La Maquina 9-12-18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Eliseo Sasoin got a free kick in the 89th minute. Albert Gaardahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Maquina 9-12-18's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
