Celestino Ler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Oscar Cordoba made a huge save. Arnulfo Bizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Vito having to interfere. Peng Xiong hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Made in Paraguay's Oscar Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peng Xiong in the 43rd minute of play. The corner ended in Agostinho Madureira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vilmar Heidemann to make the kick off. Erubiel Mede took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Cordoba.
