Javier Abin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 9th minute Maximino Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Abin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The El retorno del Pincha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, ...Pingue S.C....'s goal looked a bit too open when Armando Inautzi came free, but Javier Abin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, El retorno del Pincha's goal looked a bit too open when Díaz Principe came free, but André Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaldo Freitas in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Zonta saved El retorno del Pincha from getting behind. Javier Abin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Armando Inautzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. El retorno del Pincha's André Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Freitas in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Reinaldo Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ...Pingue S.C....'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the El retorno del Pincha defense, Reinaldo Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Zonta. The El retorno del Pincha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Zonta should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
El retorno del Pincha's Sven Thorsberg was substituted for Maximino Lope. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo Freitas was the one to do the kick off. André Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santi Gavilanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ...Pingue S.C.... were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after El retorno del Pincha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Pardaves took the corner. 67 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Freitas notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of El retorno del Pincha's André Zonta. André Zonta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 73 minutes into the match, El retorno del Pincha's Sven Thorsberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Abin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute Sven Thorsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Abin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Pardaves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Zonta. El retorno del Pincha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 98 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Freitas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. André Zonta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. El retorno del Pincha's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
