After 4 minutes OROTINENSE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ortzi Goxenola who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Unikurdos United F.C.'s corner Ortzi Goxenola fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Liu Yong Yong quite easily take care of the ball. Hever Zapatero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Liu Yong Yong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to OROTINENSE getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jesus Cortez hit a great ball. Daniel Fribäck might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liu Yong Yong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Fribäck ran back to his position shaking his head. OROTINENSE were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Unikurdos United F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Talamanca took the corner. David Talamanca made a great header on OROTINENSE's corner, it was just that Unikurdos United F.C.'s Sesuldo Teijelo managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Fribäck in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liu Yong Yong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute Unikurdos United F.C. were awarded a corner. Ortzi Goxenola went to the cornerflag to take it. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save OROTINENSE from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Fribäck got free with Liu Yong Yong in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th play minute Daniel Fribäck came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Liu Yong Yong. 1-0. After 40 played minutes Unikurdos United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hever Zapatero. Liu Yong Yong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Fribäck in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's David Talamanca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sesuldo Teijelo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in OROTINENSE's zone, Daniel Fribäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liu Yong Yong came out of the goal and Daniel Fribäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the game, Parvan Hadzhipetkov threw the ball into play from the sideline. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Tartalo Bazquez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to OROTINENSE getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Diego Palma hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Ortzi Goxenola struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Liu Yong Yong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unikurdos United F.C.. In the 58th minute David Talamanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sesuldo Teijelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Fribäck in the 60th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Daniel Fribäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unikurdos United F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Fribäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liu Yong Yong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Poncio Vaca was substituted for Gaizka Mendieta. Unikurdos United F.C. made a substitution. OROTINENSE made a substitution. Iordache Opincaru replaced Songurhan Mete. OROTINENSE's Leonel Cisneros was substituted for Jesus Cortez. Liu Yong Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andoni Viso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hever Zapatero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liu Yong Yong having to interfere. Rojelio Carrera scored 3-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Liu Yong Yong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Liu Yong Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rojelio Carrera in the 92nd minute of the match. David Talamanca took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sesuldo Teijelo. Sesuldo Teijelo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.
