But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yin Wei Yi couldn't finish the play. Ulryk Fikus kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Luis Advíncula got a free kick in the 12th minute. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Innocenzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Ireno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naohiro Takahara in the 17th minute of the match. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Igor Montes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Advíncula in the 18 minute of the game. Yin Wei Yi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustín Rossi having to make a save. Agustín Rossi made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Yin Wei Yi sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Naohiro Takahara came free, but Benedicto Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Silvestre Cisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agustín Rossi was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Pablo Innocenzio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pablo Innocenzio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Frontera AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pablo Innocenzio was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ booed when Frontera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Cisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yin Wei Yi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustín Rossi having to make a save. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Cisco in the 43rd minute of play. Pablo Innocenzio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yin Wei Yi to strike the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Gaitán, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Montes in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Pablo Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Innocenzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustín Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Naohiro Takahara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Ireno having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Karlo during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benedicto Ireno was a little too slow when Naohiro Takahara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Frontera AFC's Fabian Jaroszewicz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eliézer Mendonça, made in the 75th minute of the game. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Luis Advíncula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Cisco in the 86th minute of play forced C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalkeeper Benedicto Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
