In the 8th match minute, Lokomotiv Plovdiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Galin Metzov to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Eleazar's late challenge caught a Lokomotiv Plovdiv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Eleazar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Les Tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Eleazar to maneuver through the defense. Evlogi Lukanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Heli in the 20th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Christian Libertad. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apostol Gilev got free with Angelo Lluc in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Les Tigres booed when Lokomotiv Plovdiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Karandzhulov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evlogi Lukanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Heli in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Anier Heli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les Tigres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Victor Steven had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evlogi Lukanov. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Steven was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Steven in the 37th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Evlogi Lukanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, Les Tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Reynardo to maneuver through the defense. The Lokomotiv Plovdiv players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Les Tigres were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apostol Gilev to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ivan Ganchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Steven came free, but Evlogi Lukanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Galin Metzov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Lluc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Zlatin Kotlarski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokomotiv Plovdiv and the Les Tigres players grew even worse after the yellow card. 70 minutes into the game, one of Lokomotiv Plovdiv:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Evlogi Lukanov came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Les Tigres's Martin Ostadar. But to his dismay, Martin Ostadar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 75th match minute, Les Tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Tano to maneuver through the defense. Zlatin Kotlarski hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Evlogi Lukanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Lokomotiv Plovdiv from getting a goal against them. After 87 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Tohias. The supporters of Les Tigres booed when Lokomotiv Plovdiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlatin Kotlarski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulises Eleazar struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Evlogi Lukanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Les Tigres.
