Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Dalmacio Fernandez took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Chris Slade to make any attempt to save it. When Dalmacio Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the CON-E-CO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Fernandez couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Chris Slade successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 36th match minute, CON-E-CO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merexildo Cebadilla to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garin Cañizares in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chris Slade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Travis Barker hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The referee ignored Ogro F.C.'s protests and gave Samuel Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute Hélder Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlomagno Agüero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Carlomagno Agüero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ogro F.C.'s Chris Slade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Fernandez in the 79th minute of play.
