BRASIL.Sp's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeca Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Salvatore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the game, Severino Huly cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Amílton Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute Bonifacio Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílton Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Rosado. 39 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Cresconio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BRASIL.Sp's Amílton Urbano. Amílton Urbano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hermínio Neiva hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The BRASIL.Sp players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Atlanta were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermínio Neiva was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Artemio Jaunti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amílton Urbano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The corner led Club Atlético Atlanta's Donato Nalo to fire away a dangerous shot which Amílton Urbano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gildo Nogueira hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Oihenarte to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Nogueira in the 72nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Nalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Rene Luzea got a free kick in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Cresconio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amílton Urbano. BRASIL.Sp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Cresconio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Hermínio Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Atlanta played a much better game than BRASIL.Sp and deserved their victory. The BRASIL.Sp players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
