The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florin Cernea in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garip Tezeren saved 61 PIMMS FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, 61 PIMMS FC's Aytekin Tecmil got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 20 minutes of play, 61 PIMMS FC's Fakir Štriker made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Codruț Răchită was left in no man's land by his defense there! Garip Tezeren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Blidaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celalettin Şinasi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Codruț Răchită having to make a save. LIVERPOOL FC's Codruț Răchită played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celalettin Şinasi in the 33rd minute of play. Codruț Răchită took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celalettin Şinasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codruț Răchită stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celalettin Şinasi's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Ilie Zbuchea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, LIVERPOOL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celalettin Şinasi came free, but Codruț Răchită reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LIVERPOOL FC made a substitution. Gavril Ţintă replaced Iurie Maniu. In the 49th minute, Mihai Jula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fakir Štriker was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of 61 PIMMS FC booed when LIVERPOOL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Blidaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fakir Štriker struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Codruț Răchită didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 61 PIMMS FC. Codruț Răchită made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fakir Štriker in the 77th minute. Garip Tezeren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Stanomir, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Celalettin Şinasi took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Codruț Răchită to make any attempt to save it. Fakir Štriker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Răchită having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, 61 PIMMS FC's Fakir Štriker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Codruț Răchită made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 96 minutes into the match, LIVERPOOL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bedir Onal came free, but Codruț Răchită reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to 61 PIMMS FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Zühtü Okkan hit a great ball. After 99 minutes, Florin Cernea made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. 61 PIMMS FC's Garip Tezeren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The LIVERPOOL FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 61 PIMMS FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
