The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tony Elbornes short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Sándor Jászberényi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sándor Jászberényi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Elborne in the 12th minute. The supporters of Gyál United booed when Vestegnens Betonhelte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Orry didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Augustus Tarpø got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Elborne got free with Sándor Jászberényi in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Tony Elborne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vestegnens Betonhelte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gyál United's Sándor Jászberényi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Gyál United from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbert Vajda in the 30th minute of play forced Vestegnens Betonhelte's goalkeeper Moritz Deigaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ture Vellis hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Balázs Jánosi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. Moritz Deigaard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of István Földes's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Mik Ersking charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mik Ersking the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mik Ersking kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Moritz Deigaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Földes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 53 minutes of play, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Baba Bab made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sándor Jászberényi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 59 played minutes Gyál United got a freekick which was hit by Ferenc Baróti. After 60 played minutes, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Augustus Tarpø shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sándor Jászberényi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vestegnens Betonhelte reached it. Gergely Víg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vestegnens Betonhelte's Moritz Deigaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by István Földes in the 69th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Orry came free, but Sándor Jászberényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Gyál United's István Földes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moritz Deigaard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mik Ersking's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sándor Jászberényi was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 88 minutes of play, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Tony Elborne made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sándor Jászberényi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tony Elborne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sándor Jászberényi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Vestegnens Betonhelte were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gyál United for a fine match.
