Chiquinho Borges didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Moreira went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 7th minute, Durval Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Rodrigo Quirino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Gustavo FPRMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of FC Gustavo FPRMZ booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ogro F.C.'s Chiquinho Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ogro F.C. from getting a goal against them. Chiquinho Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Ogro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Mineiro. FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Felipe Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Alagoano in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Alagoano in the 20th minute of play forced FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goalkeeper Felipe Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC Gustavo FPRMZ defense, Sandro Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Tande. The FC Gustavo FPRMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Tande should have stopped the shot. Felipe Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Domingues in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Sandro Domingues notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Felipe Tande. Felipe Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celsinho de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Bebeto da Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Gustavo FPRMZ's protests and gave Bebeto da Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. 40 minutes into the match, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Alagoano came free, but Felipe Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, João Francisco Alagoano put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Felipe Tande. When Cauan Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ogro F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauan Gonçalves couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandro Domingues to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Durval Carneiro made a precise shot to the right of Chiquinho Borges. Ogro F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. In the 58th minute João Francisco Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardinho Britto hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Hélder Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Felipe Tande made a huge save. In the 67th match minute, Ogro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Abreu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ogro F.C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Afonso Abreu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ogro F.C.'s zone, Rubens Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiquinho Borges came out of the goal and Rubens Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 minutes of play, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Rodrigo Quirino made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquinho Borges was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, João Francisco Alagoano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felipe Tande. The goal made the score 4-4. 91 minutes into the match, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Domingues came free, but Felipe Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Rodrigo Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Gustavo FPRMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chiquinho Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Ogro F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
