But to his dismay, Waldir Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Ulisses Pontes fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Gustavo FPRMZ's protests and gave Ulisses Pontes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Ulisses Pontes got a free kick in the 15th minute. Bebeto da Silveira hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Diguinho Vargas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felipe Tande. FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when FC Gustavo FPRMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramón Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Felipe Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Araújo in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Márcio Guedes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DENVER™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Felipe Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Guedes in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caio de Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 53rd minute André Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Tande was a little too slow when Waldir Romero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-3. DENVER™'s Caio de Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toninho Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão Seco in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Caio de Mendonça got a free kick in the 64th minute. Luiz Guilherme Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Tande having to interfere. A collision led to FC Gustavo FPRMZ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. André Moreira hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Felipe Tande got control of the ball when Márcio Guedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ramón Vinhas 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. Felipe Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Romero in the 93rd minute of play. The FC Gustavo FPRMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DENVER™ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
