In the 19th minute of the match MILAN COLOMBIANO got a corner. C.A.Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Umar Gol ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arnaldo Ortega made a great header on MILAN COLOMBIANO's corner, it was just that C.A.Independiente's Karl-Axel Jansson managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of C.A.Independiente booed when MILAN COLOMBIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Augusto Tebaldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Karl-Axel Jansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. C.A.Independiente's Severino Joanes got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, C.A.Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Tebaldo came free, but Karl-Axel Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Axel Jansson came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by MILAN COLOMBIANO's Augusto Tebaldo. But to his dismay, Augusto Tebaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Tebaldo got free with Karl-Axel Jansson in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's Fabian Ipar got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolfo Sidro to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Sidro in the 51st minute of play forced MILAN COLOMBIANO's goalkeeper Jeronimo Cresconio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute MILAN COLOMBIANO were awarded a corner. Umar Gol went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Fulgencio Araoz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A.Independiente's Karl-Axel Jansson did a great save. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MILAN COLOMBIANO fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.A.Independiente had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
