Soldados De Román's Angelo Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Borges in the 13th minute of play forced Enhebrator FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Baumer had great luck who in the 13thth minute grab hold of the ball when Angelo Borges from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Enhebrator FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulisses Andrade was slow to take the kick. During this time Soldados De Román's players had a chance to rest. Filiberto Henric made a great header on Soldados De Román's corner, it was just that Enhebrator FC's Bonifacio Baumer managed to reach the ball for a save. A well-hit corner resulted in Guilherme Basso heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 20th play minutes Dries van Veldhuizen shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Eulalio Urbasa and just under the crossbar into goal. Soldados De Román's Eulalio Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Calvet in the 36th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dries van Veldhuizen to strike the kick off in the second half. Eulalio Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Janiczek in the 76th minute of play. Guilherme Basso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bonifacio Baumer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Bonifacio Baumer came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Soldados De Román's Guilherme Basso. But to his dismay, Guilherme Basso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Bonifacio Baumer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes, Jaime Flor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Enhebrator FC and the Soldados De Román players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eulalio Urbasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Janiczek, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Enhebrator FC got a corner. Soldados De Román's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jairo Hulberto ran over to the corner to take the kick.
