Gavino Raymundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dadá Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Anibal Chayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Uchiha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Cristo Rey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los once leones's Dadá Martinez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Los once leones's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bert Homøe took the corner. The corner ended in Gavino Raymundo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los once leones's Dadá Martinez did a great save. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Cristo Rey got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dadá Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Rey in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Cristo Rey notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Los once leones's Dadá Martinez. Dadá Martinez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Cristo Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dadá Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gavino Raymundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dadá Martinez made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Cristo Rey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Cayetano Luix made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vicente Panfilo. Dadá Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Homøe in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Cristo Rey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Dadá Martinez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Despite this Dadá Martinez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Los once leones defense, Cristo Rey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dadá Martinez. The Los once leones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadá Martinez should have stopped the shot. Dadá Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
