Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kadri Coşan started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute José Pedro Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahsin Orguntay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celsinho Quintal hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A collision led to Under 18 Universe getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Kadri Coşan hit a great ball. Wilian Paraíba took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tahsin Orguntay. Under 18 Universe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Wilian Paraíba got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Under 18 Universe's Atalan Maruf broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tahsin Orguntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Motta in the 14th minute of the match. Ümit Akersoy kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. José Pedro Coutinho hit a great ball. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulusi Berkman in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Under 18 Universe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hulusi Berkman to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes, Jenipapo SC's Roberto Cafuringa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tahsin Orguntay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jenipapo SC reached it. In the 32nd match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Under 18 Universe's Atalan Maruf tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Moisés das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tahsin Orguntay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahsin Orguntay having to interfere. Dida Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ümit Akersoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Giovanni Motta made the kick off in the second half. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kadri Coşan in the 52nd minute of play. Göktuğ Boysel charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göktuğ Boysel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, Under 18 Universe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göktuğ Boysel to maneuver through the defense. Tahsin Orguntay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ümit Akersoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A collision led to Under 18 Universe getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hulusi Berkman hit a great ball. Roberto Cafuringa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tahsin Orguntay. Under 18 Universe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Osman Ali Seyyid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Taffarel having to interfere. Ümit Akersoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 67 minutes into the game, Jenipapo SC's José Pedro Coutinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tahsin Orguntay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 74th minute, Moisés das Neves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tahsin Orguntay. The goal made the score 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kadri Coşan in the 80th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ümit Akersoy in the 88th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kadri Coşan in the 89th minute of play. Giovanni Motta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Jenipapo SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 92ndth minute of the game Kadri Coşan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jenipapo SC's Dida Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulusi Berkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Under 18 Universe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jenipapo SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
