After a rather tough play, Ogro F.C.'s João Vítor Branco got a free kick in the 36th minute. Afonso Abreu's late challenge caught a Relyn Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonso Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Ogro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Abreu. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Augusto Capixaba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
