Wellington de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óskar Aspfors in the 15th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Nascimento came free, but Wellington de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óskar Aspfors to maneuver through the defense. When Ruy Nóbrega fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise's protests and gave Ruy Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's zone, Óskar Aspfors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington de Carvalho came out of the goal and Óskar Aspfors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Óskar Aspfors got free with Wellington de Carvalho in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Wellington de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Guadalupe FC - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. After 69 played minutes Guadalupe FC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Horácio de Brito. ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise's Ulysses Coelho was substituted for Róbson Nascimento. Horácio de Brito hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Gláuber Carioca got a free kick in the 71st minute. Adrianinho Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlinhos Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Percival Mesquita fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's protests and gave Percival Mesquita a yellow card for diving instead. Wellington de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Antunes in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 played minutes Guadalupe FC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Horácio de Brito. If Ulysses Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Óskar Aspfors in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wellington de Carvalho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Naohiro Takahara kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the ≮王者归来≯Island Sunrise players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
