Acácio Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaltino Vargas having to make a save. 6 minutes into the game, Oscar dos Santos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaltino Vargas. Oscar dos Santos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Breno Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Acácio Peres might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaltino Vargas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Acácio Peres ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaltino Vargas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar dos Santos went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Breno Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breno Esteves's late challenge caught a EoDu Uai Sôccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breno Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Capibaribe Stars getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Fiori Sabóia hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Gildo Maranhense's late challenge caught a EoDu Uai Sôccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gildo Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. Doriva Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doriva Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes EoDu Uai Sôccer got a freekick which was hit by Doriva Porto. In the 57th minute, Breno Esteves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and EoDu Uai Sôccer's Isaltino Vargas didn't even have to move. Oscar dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Vargas having to interfere. Acácio Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Isaltino Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belmiro Mendes during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Capibaribe Stars booed when EoDu Uai Sôccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belmiro Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. EoDu Uai Sôccer's Manuel Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaltino Vargas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Capibaribe Stars players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
