Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Zanette in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Amadeu Furlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Víktor Paulista was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Toninho Garcia hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The long shot by Fabrício Brunovskis in the 12th minute really tested Víktor Paulista's skills. In the 27th minute Eliseu Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sidnei Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes, Eliseu Alagoano made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Víktor Paulista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Célio Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al-Fajuth's protests and gave Célio Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Al-Fajuth booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrício Brunovskis shot a long shot in the 95th minute and a light blocked Víktor Paulista hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Al-Fajuth had played much better football throughout.
