Durvalino Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durvalino Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Teodosio Herena shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bruno Branco to catch but Teodosio Herena was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The supporters of Blumenau Esporte Clube booed when KIRICOCHO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Herena in the 20th minute of the match. If Erik Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Erik Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Christobal in the 28th minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Bruno Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Herena hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Alvaro Chesus was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Flávio Meireles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Flávio Meireles really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Erik Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenzo Dolcet kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KIRICOCHO FC's Lorenzo Dolcet got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Kinsen to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, KIRICOCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Gerber came free, but Alvaro Chesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to KIRICOCHO FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Feliciano Christobal hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Erik Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Hélio Tepedino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alvaro Chesus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bruno Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Escobar in the 67th minute of the match. Gaudencio Polentzi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Alvaro Chesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Tiago Dionísio's late challenge caught a KIRICOCHO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Dionísio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Tiago Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliciano Christobal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th match minute, Blumenau Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Meireles to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Bruno Branco managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when KIRICOCHO FC's Antonio Kinsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Blumenau Esporte Clube were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KIRICOCHO FC for a fine match.
