Washington Furtado started the match with the kick off. When Godfredo Eleder fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KIRICOCHO FC's protests and gave Godfredo Eleder a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KIRICOCHO FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Godfredo Eleder hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Lorenzo Dolcet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Washington Furtado took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Chesus. Alvaro Chesus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alvaro Chesus was a little too slow when Reynaldo Zanette got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Escobar in the 20th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Víktor Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of KIRICOCHO FC booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to KIRICOCHO FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Roberto Escobar hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Feliciano Christobal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Víktor Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Toro in the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Toro in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Víktor Paulista saved CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA from getting behind. Víktor Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Christobal in the 32nd minute of play. Placido Toro might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Víktor Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Toro ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Chesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe de Azevedo in the 39th minute. 45 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Toro came free, but Víktor Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Christobal might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Víktor Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliciano Christobal ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Toro was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Jean Quintal got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Placido Toro made a precise shot to the right of Víktor Paulista. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Washington Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Placido Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvaro Chesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Chesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, KIRICOCHO FC's Placido Toro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Víktor Paulista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felipe de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alvaro Chesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Feliciano Christobal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Víktor Paulista. The goal made the score 3-2. Teodosio Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Víktor Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, KIRICOCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Garcia came free, but Alvaro Chesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes in the game, Feliciano Christobal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Víktor Paulista having to interfere. Víktor Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Christobal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Zanette to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the KIRICOCHO FC defense, Felipe de Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Chesus. The KIRICOCHO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Chesus should have stopped the shot. Felipe de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Chesus having to interfere. KIRICOCHO FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA had won, even though KIRICOCHO FC had held more of the ball.
