An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Furtado in the 12th minute of play forced Bola Quadrada FC's goalkeeper Gilmar Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Ernani Travassos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilmar Quirino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 15 played minutes Bola Quadrada FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Botelho. After having played for 17 minutes, Washington Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gilmar Quirino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.
