Jorge Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavino Orlan having to make a save. In the 26th match minute, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Txilar to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match, Jorge Magalhães tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gavino Orlan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of SLB TELHA booed when ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Goi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s zone, Hermenegildo Ventura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Orlan came out of the goal and Hermenegildo Ventura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ from getting a goal against them. Cássio Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Tano went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

But to his dismay, Fernando Bento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Cássio Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Txilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Gavino Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesualdo Carvalho in the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Bento didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
