Wilson Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Matías Machado hit a great ball. Ismael Mandrak did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Wilson Vianna 73 minutes into the match. Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Júlio Sá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Frederico Smith was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute Galon Damašas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Smith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97th play minutes Ismael Mandrak shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Wilson Vianna and just under the crossbar into goal. The Clube do Remo MZ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
