America Futebol Clube SP's Nildo Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Toscano in the 9th minute of play. Dito Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Nildo Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, José Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave America Futebol Clube SP the free kick. In the 11th minute, one of Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ. When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, America Futebol Clube SP's Pedrinho Figueiredo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cacá Sousa. In the 16th minute Diego Armando Orange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nildo Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Cacá Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto de Souza in the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Diego Armando Orange cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nildo Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicolas Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cacá Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. Cacá Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Souza in the 42nd minute of the match. America Futebol Clube SP's Nildo Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Rezende in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Orange came free, but Nildo Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodriguinho Varela charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
